Large Vessels                           Doug's Woodturnings

The Big Guys

Turning large vessels presents more challenges. When something goes wrong, it usually goes wrong in a big way. I can turn vessels up to about 30 inches tall and about 24 inches in diameter. I mostly use Koa and Cook Pine for these vessels but have also turned pieces from Mango and Lychee.
